Lemala Manyara is a seasonal camp located inside the magnificent Manyara National Park. It is open between November and March to take advantage of the seasonal game movement from surrounding areas into the park. The camp relocates to Tarangire between June and October.
Accommodation consists of 7 luxury tents, each with a large single or king-size bed with warm duvets, wooden flooring with rugs, 24-hr solar lighting, and en suite bathroom with a dressing area, flush toilet and a great safari shower.
The mess tent is beautifully furnished in a contemporary style with comfortable sofas, lamps, book and corner cabinets, chests and rugs. In the evening, guests gather around the campfire for sundowners before retiring for dinner hosted by the camp manager. Camp guests enjoy al fresco meals and sundowners at camp.
Lemala Manyara offers an authentic safari experience in traditional style from a spectacular secluded location surrounded by Fig and Acacia trees overlooking the towering Rift Valley Escarpment. It lies approximately an hour inside the park near the Endabash Ranger Post and River, an area of the park which sees very little traffic throughout the day. Being based centrally inside the park, Lemala guests can cover a wider game area and can start their 4x4 game drives as early as 6.15am to enjoy game viewing in relative peace. When they return from their game drives, guests are treated to bush breakfasts or lunches and sundowners in the evening by the camp fire.
