Day 1 - 3: Okavango Delta

Accommodation: Tubu Tree Camp

Lying in the middle of the largest expanse of sand on earth the Okavango Delta is one of Africa’s most amazing, sensitive and complex environments supporting a spectacle of wilderness and wildlife. Unique as one of the world’s few inland deltas, the placid waters and lush indigenous forests offer a safe haven for innumerable bird and wildlife species. The Okavango Delta offers a number of activities for the visitor; game viewing, birding and fishing are all on offer. One can experience this magical world of islands and waterways from land, air and water.

Tubu Tree lies on the western side of the isolated Hunda Island. Elevated walkways through the canopy link the traditional style camp with eight secluded tents on raised platforms, taking in the marvellous scenery of the surrounding floodplain. Each tent has a private front deck, en-suite bathroom facilities and an outdoor shower. A family unit consisting of two adjoining tents with separate bathrooms and a shared lounge is available.

Day 4 - 6: Chobe

Accommodation: Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero

Meal Basis: Full Board plus Activities

The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its reliable and diverse game viewing. Safaris are conducted both by boat and on land. This section of the park is best known for its elephant and hippo populations but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them.

Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero is a luxurious retreat in the heart of the bush, located on the edge of Chobe National Park, the second largest national park in Botswana, where some 80,000 elephants roam. From the lodge’s hilltop position, guests can enjoy far reaching panoramic views over the Chobe River and floodplain below. The main public area includes a lounge, library and dining room, which are linked to outdoor viewing patios. Dedicated children's safari club is available with special activity programs for younger safari adventurers including guided walks, nature hunts and shortened game drives, in addition meal times and menus can be tailored to younger guests.
