Nosy Komba and Nosy Sakatia

DESCRIPTION

Many people will choose to stay on one of the satellite islands near to Nosy Be instead of staying on the 'big island'.

Nosy Komba is a great choice. 'Komba', meaning lemur, is home to many black lemurs and the forest reserve here is a popular day trip. There are also many handicrafts on offer on the island, and locals are very friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of small and comfortable owner run lodges here which are well worth a few nights.

The smaller island of Nosy Sakatia is also a good choice for visitors who want to stay off the main island and is a
popular choice for those keen on deep sea fishing and diving.
