Gorah is the only private concession in Addo Elephant Park and Gorah Camp is situated in the middle it, home to the densest population of elephants on earth.
Accommodation consists of 11 tented suites sheltered beneath thatched canopies, which are luxurious and spacious. Each has an en suite bathroom with shower, interior relaxation area and a private deck offering panoramic views across the savannah plains. Other facilities include solar-powered lights, ceiling fans and in-house communication between the tents and the Main House.
Guests can enjoy al fresco dining with a log fire under the stars, or a more elegant candle-lit dinner in the dining room. Meals are fine-dining fare with an African twist accompanied with the best South African wines.
Addo National Elephant Park offers some of the most spectacular elephant viewing in the world. As well as the elephants, Addo is home to Cape buffalo, lion, black rhino, a variety of antelope species, and the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo. Qualified rangers and guides accompany guests on exciting activities such as game drives, bush walks and mountain bike trails.
