Hazyview & White River

DESCRIPTION

Hazyview is a small farming town in Mpumalanga and is renowned for its banana industry. Close to Kruger National Park, the town's name is derived from the haze that occurs during the heat of summer. Most of Mpumalanga's private game reserves are found just east of Hazyview.

White River lies just north of Nelspruit not far from the border with the Kruger National Park. It is not a large town but it is certainly an area of considerable scenic beauty. The climate is one of the best in South Africa.

Both towns have some superb accommodation and are excellent bases to explore the many local attractions and Kruger National Park. The famous Panorama Route is easily accessible with Pilgrim's Rest, Blyde River Canyon, Mac Mac Falls and Bourkes Luck Potholes all a short, scenic drive away.
