Situated in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Motswari is a family-owned and operated safari lodge that prides itself on its warm atmosphere and luxurious accommodation.
Accommodation is in 15 thatched bungalows which offer luxurious surroundings but in a relaxed and understated atmosphere. The bungalows all have en suite bathrooms, each with air conditioning and unrivalled bush views.
Activities at Motswari include extended game drives (c3.5 hours) in open Land Rovers at sunrise and sunset to ensure an unforgettable game viewing experience. Walking safaris are also available with a highly experienced and armed guide for those who wish to get the most from their African experience.
All of Africa's Big Five are abundant in the area, as are countless numbers of other naturally occurring Plains Game which traverse the open boundary between Motswari and the Kruger National Park. The lodge’s guides are residents of the area and have an intimate knowledge of the location and wildlife that comes from a lifetime of co-existence with their surrounds.
